Texas Tech University is a public research-based corporation in Lubbock, Texas, founded in 1923. 1. Graduates of public high schools in Texas are admitted at the top 25% of the class rank or with the SAT score of 1200. Non-residents most commonly have requirements of 15% rank and 1500 SAT.
