At first, in 1972 FIU got operated and now it is a campus with over 58,000 students, the second biggest university in the country. Florida International University Admission 2024

1. In order to attend FIU, students must have either a high school diploma or a GED (General Education Diploma). The range for middle 50% of students who got the places in the college admissions is a GPA between 3.3-4.1 and a SAT scores between 1110-1290 or ACT Scores between 23-29. 

2. For consideration in this program, the applicant must provide copies of transcripts, test scores, an essay, recommendations, and other documents related to such an application. Though there is no specific deadline to apply, and yet applying early is recommended.

3. The admission rate is approx. 58% while there are about 40,000 undergraduate students on campus. FIU's in-state students are charged less in terms of tuition fees but we also take a big number of out-of-state and international students to our university.

How to Apply to Florida International University?

1. Collect all the reports including transcripts from secondary schools and other colleges attended, countries as freshman, reference letters, personal essay, and so on.

2. Select the term and degree level (undergraduate, graduate, etc.) you want to apply for an submit an online application at https://www.fiu.edu/admissions/apply/. This fee is in the amount of $30 and will not be returned to you.

3. If you apply for the volunteer position, you can do so a year before the annual event. Priority deadlines are: July 1- Fall, December 1 – Spring, May 1 – Summer.  Some programs have different deadlines while others have almost similar ones so check the web page.

4. In your application to the chosen degree program, submit the supplementary admissions requirements. Also, portoflio, audition, score of the test, etc. may be included. 

5. Along with your official transcripts, make sure to also enclose any other relevant test scores or documents that are required with your form. Ask them to be performed by individuals or institution directly.

6. Login to online platform to check the application process and reply back immediately if any of the above-listed information is required.

7. After the admission, timely reply to your offer of admission by the respective deadline and pay your enrollment deposit also at the right time and in the appropriate way. This reserves your spot.

8. Be provided with housing instructions, sign for orientation, and go for class registration. In addition to that, apply for financial aid and scholarships if you experience the lack of funds.
